Having friends that just graduated about 5 years ago, it’s interesting to see what they are doing with their degrees as jobs for college students are so hard to get right now. I went to college for one year and decided that I had no idea what I wanted to do and instead just got an administrative job.
I have one friend who got a teaching degree, couldn’t find a teaching job around here so she moved away from family and friends to Florida (from Ohio). She now is barely making it down there teaching 1st grade and trying to pay off her student loans.

While going to school one is working part time at a department store and the other is working in an office.
On the other hand, I have 2 wise friends who went into nursing and both had jobs lined up before they even graduated, but the one after working in a major hospital hates her job and wants an administrative nursing job and is taking online classes for a graduate degree.
I definitely don’t think that college is for everyone. I couldn’t imagine paying $15,000 a year to go to a university and then graduating and not being able to get a job. For me, not going to college was a wise decision but I didn’t have something that I was passionate about at the time.

I just graduated from college with a degree in business and also a degree in accounting.
